Below is a REALTIME map of stations heard by the AJ3U-5 IGATE
Map updated every two minutes - see below for a description

What you are looking at above is a number of position reports from amateur radio operators in Southern Maryland. This map is automatically generated by my IGATE station running UI-VIEW32 and uploaded to the web server every two minutes. At times you may see vehicles, planes, or boats moving around the area. These vehicles obtain their location using GPS and transmit that position for others to follow. The stars are "digipeaters" which repeat the signals transmitted from mobile and portable stations to give them a greater range. Digipeaters are normally located on communications towers or high spots to give them wide coverage.
Shaded areas on the map indicate National Weather Service
bulletins:
YELLOW
= Advisory ORANGE
= Watch RED
= Warning
